Day of the Dead est un film d'horreur américain réalisé par Steve Miner, sorti en 2008. Le film est un remake du désormais célèbre Le jour des morts-vivants de George A. Romero.

Synopsis

Ce film bien que remake de l'œuvre originale de Romero ne reprend pas son scénario mais celui qu'il devait être à l'origine.

Une épidémie se répand dans une petite ville des États-Unis, la garde nationale des États-Unis organise alors une quarantaine afin de contrôler l'épidémie. Sarah (même prénom que l'héroïne de l'ancien day of the dead) caporal de la garde nationale est originaire de cette même ville et décide d'aller prendre des nouvelles de sa mère et son frère.
