Institut Courtauld, Somerset House
L'Institut Courtauld (Courtauld Institute of Art en anglais) est une organisation affiliée à l'Université de Londres et spécialisée dans l'étude de l'histoire de l'art. Fondé en 1932 par l'industriel et collectionneur d'art Samuel Courtauld, l'institution fut tout d'abord installée au 20 Portman Square. Depuis 1989, l'Institut a emménagé à Somerset House.
Anthony Blunt en fut le directeur.
En plus de se vouer à l'étude de l'art, l'Institut possède et expose quelques toiles célèbres, comme par exemple le Bar aux Folies Bergère d'Édouard Manet.
En collaboration avec l'institut Warburg, l'institut publie chaque année The Journal of the Warburg and Courtauld Institutes, document d'environ 300 pages.
