Biographie
Née d'un père nigérian, chef d'entreprise, Charles, décédé, et d'une mère écossaise, guide touristique, Elizabeth. Son frère, né en 1976, est juriste. Elle est mariée à Jeffrey Wright depuis août 2000, et ils ont un enfant, Elijah.
Elle a commencé comme présentatrice de TV pour enfants, le samedi matin avec Stuart Miles présentateur de Blue Peter
