Both sides est le cinquième album solo de Phil Collins, sorti en 1993.
L'album a été enregistré dans son home studio dans le Sussex. Il y joue tous les instruments. Triste et dépouillé, l'album est sans doute son plus personnel depuis "Face Value".
Après cette période de gloire, le nouveau Phil Collins sort en 1993. Il a pour nom Both Sides. Contrairement à ses précédents albums, celui-ci est plus terne et semble plus calme. Les principales raisons de ce changement sont la disparition des cuivres et l'abondance de sons atmosphériques aux synthés. L'album reste tout de même excellent grâce à des réussites comme Can't Turn Back The Years, We wait and We Wonder, Both Sides of The Story et Everyday.
