Captain William Charles Bonaparte-Wyse (20 janvier 1826 – 3 décembre 1892) était soldat et poète irlandais.
William Charles Bonaparte-Wyse était né dans Irlande, fils du politicien et rénovateur d'éducation Sir Thomas Wyse. Il écrit en Provençal, était un ami de Frédéric Mistral, et il est devenu le seul membre étranger de la consistoire du Félibrige, l'association littéraire provençale.
Sa collection Li Parpaioun Blu a été publiée en 1868, avec un avis par Mistral. Il a créé le plat Provençal figues sèches pochées en whisky[1].
Il est mort à Cannes, et enterré dans la Cimetière du Grand Jas.
