The Journal of power institutions in post-soviet societies est une revue scientifique électronique internationale de sciences sociales .

La revue est consacrée à l'étude des forces armées et des structures de force dans les sociétés post-soviétiques, en traitant de leur organisation, de leur évolution et de leur rapport à la société. Elle vise ainsi à contribuer à la compréhension de la société et de l’État à partir de l’étude de ces institutions. En croisant des perspectives disciplinaires variées, son ambition est de mieux décrypter les différentes facettes des phénomènes observés.
