Dong Young-bae (né le 18 mai 1988), mieux connu sous son nom de scène Taeyang (qui signifie solaire) ou Sol (Soleil en espagnol), est un artiste sud-coréen. Après être apparu dans la vidéo musicale de Jinusean, "A-yo", Taeyang a commencé sa formation en vertu de YG Entertainment à l'âge de 12 ans aux côtés de son collègue et chef de file : G-Dragon. Après six années de formation vocale et de danse, il fait ses débuts en 2006 en tant que membre de Big Bang. En 2008, Taeyang sort son premier mini-album, Hot. Le 1er juillet 2010, il sort son premier album complet intitulé Solar.
