Simon Tatham né le 3 mai 1977 est un programmeur informatique anglais connu principalement pour avoir créé PuTTY, un logiciel libre utilisant les protocoles SSH,Telnet,rlogin et TCP brut disponible sur Windows ainsi que sur les systèmes UNIX. Il est aussi connu pour être l'un des auteurs de Netwide assembler (NASM) qui est un assembleur pour l'architecture x86. Il travail actuellement au sein de la société britannique ARM.
