Une schutterij (pluriel : schutterijen) est une milice citoyenne, dans les Pays-Bas des époques médiévale et moderne, destinée à protéger la ville ou la cité d'une attaque, d'une révolte ou d'un incendie. Ces milices étaient regroupées selon leur district ou leur arme : arc, arbalète, lance ou fusil. Les membres d’une schutterij forment une schutterijgilde.
