Rock Ballad était un magazine consacré au Pop-rock, entre 1987 et 1989.
Publié à Bordeaux, à l'instigation de Bernard Fretin, il tirait son nom d'un morceau d' Elliott Murphy.
Photocomposé, documenté et attrayant, il proposait des articles de fond, des interviews et des chroniques de disques.
