Propleopus est un genre éteint de marsupial. On connait deux espèces de Propleopus, Propleopus chillagoensis et Propleopus oscillans, datant du Pléistocène. Ce genre était assez proche de l’actuel kangourou-rat musqué (Hypsiprymnodon moschatus) et il est donc probable que les Propleopi ont été omnivores, contrairement à la plupart des autres espèces de kangourous[1].
