La pollution à l'arsenic au Bangladesh est une catastrophe sanitaire dont les effets sont connus depuis au moins octobre 2000[1]. Les multiples catastrophes naturelles, telles que les inondations, et l'utilisation d'engrais et de pesticides auraient été les facteurs de la contamination par l'arsenic de la principale nappe phréatique du pays. En 2010, l'ONU et le gouvernement du Bangladesh ont publié un document faisant état de l'avancée de la catastrophe et ont lancé un programme de décontamination devant être achevé en 2011[2].
