Ilot marocain sur la mer méditerranéenne a quelque 100 mètres des côtes marocaines tout près du port Tanger Med, abritant un phare et faisant partie de la province de Tanger-Tétouan, il est situé approximativement à 6 kilomètres à l'ouest de l'îlot du persil disputé entre le Maroc et l'Espagne.
