Panthera crassidens est probablement une espèce de léopard, éteinte de nos jours. Elle a vécu en Afrique pendant le Pliocène supérieur et le Pléistocène inférieur. Il a été allégué que les rares restes de fossiles ne représentent pas une espèce réelle et qu’ils appartiendraient donc à une autre forme de Panthera[1].
