Next (titre original : Next) est un roman (techno-thriller) écrit par Michael Crichton en 2006 et le dernier publié de son vivant.
Synopsis
L'histoire de Next se passe à une époque contemporaine où le gouvernement accompagné d'investisseurs privés dépensent des milliards de dollars chaque année dans la recherche génétique. Le roman suit différents personnages, dont des animaux transgéniques, qui tentent de survivre dans un monde dominé par les recherches génétiques et l'appât du gain.
