Middle East Strategy at Harvard

Middle East Strategy at Harvard (MESH) est un blog consacré aux affaires moyen-orientales, conçu par le National Security Studies Program (Weathered Center for International Affairs) de l’Université Harvard, aux États-Unis.

MESH fonctionne sur le principe d’une communauté de chercheurs et de praticiens intéressés par la formulation de la politique étrangère américaine à l’égard du Moyen-Orient.

Le point de départ des fondateurs du blog a été le suivant : depuis les événements du 11 septembre 2001 et la guerre en Irak, le Moyen-Orient occupe une place centrale dans les débats sur les objectifs internationaux et les stratégies du gouvernement américain. MESH rassemble des personnalités d’horizons divers : chercheurs universitaires, experts de think tanks, hauts fonctionnaires.

Middle East Strategy at Harvard est modéré par Stephen Peter Rosen, directeur du National Security Studies Program, et Martin Kramer, chercheur senior au sein de ce même Centre. Les modérateurs sélectionnent eux-mêmes les membres du blog, lesquels peuvent ensuite poster leurs articles et rédiger des commentaires.
