Marzuki était un groupe de folk-rock originaire de Hollande (Michigan) avec une importante concentration de fans dans l'ouest de l'État du Michigan dans le milieu des années 1990. Ils étaient particulièrement populaires au sein de plusieurs universités, dont Hope College, Calvin College et Grand Valley State University. Les membres de Marzuki étaient Shannon Stephens (voix et guitare), Jamie Kempkers (violoncelle), Matthew Haseltine (guitare et batterie) et Sufjan Stevens (guitare, percussions et d'autres instruments). Leurs textes exploraient souvent les thèmes de l'amour et de la spiritualité.
Marzuki tenait son nom du frère de Sufjan Stevens, Marzuki Stevens, un coureur de marathon.
