Lemon law

Une lemon law est une loi en application aux États-Unis qui protège les acheteurs de voitures neuves pour lesquels le véhicule acquis comporte un défaut impossible à réparer en un nombre raisonnable de tentatives. Elle impose alors au vendeur le remplacement du véhicule. Le véhicule défectueux est appelé un lemon.

Plusieurs lemon laws sont appliquées aux États-Unis.
