Lawn Dogs est un film réalisé en 1997 par John Duigan, dont le scénario est écrit par Naomi Wallace. Même s'il est filmé à Louisville et Danville, dans l’État du Kentucky, aux États-Unis, Lawn Dogs est un film britannique produit par Duncan Kenworthy. Le film a remporté de nombreux prix dans des festivals européens.
Synopsis
Le terme Lawn dog fait référence à celui qui tond des gazons, et c'est exactement ce que fait le personnage personnage principal, Trent Burns, quand il rencontre une petite fille de 10 ans solitaire, Devon Stockard, qui vient d'une famille aisée, dans la banlieue de Louisville, dans l’État du Kentucky, qui l'a isolée. Trent vit dans une caravane dans les bois, et Devon vit dans un quartier résidentiel fermé. Tous les deux deviennent liés dans une amitié aventureuse, qui plus tard est mal comprise par les gens de la ville, qui commencent à suspecter Trent d'être un pédophile. Ironiquement, un des adversaires de Trent en est un, mais pas Trent.
