Kubrat Venkov Pulev (en bulgare : Кубрат Пулев) est un boxeur bulgare né le 4 mars 1981 à Sofia.

Carrière

Médaillé de bronze aux championnats du monde amateur de Mianyang en 2005 dans la catégorie super-lourds (battu en demi-finale par Odlanier Solís 25 points à 11), il remporte également la médaille de bronze lors des championnats d'Europe organisés à Plovdiv en 2006 et la médaille d'or à Liverpool en 2008[1].

Pulev s'incline en revanche au premier tour des Jeux olympiques de Pékin face au colombien Oscar Rivas et passe professionnel l'année suivante. Il se fait vite remarquer en mettant KO l'expérimenté boxeur britannique Matt Skelton dès son 5e combat.
