Kamaishi (釜石市; Kamaishi-shi) est une petite (mais historique) ville localisée dans la préfecture d'Iwate au Japon.
En 2008, la population recensée est de 41 022 et une densité de 92 habitants par km². La superficie totale est de 441,42 km².
La ville est en partie détruite lors du tsunami consécutif au séisme de 2011 touchant la côte Est du Japon.
