John Aler (né le 4 octobre 1949, à Baltimore dans le Maryland) est un chanteur lyrique américain, ténor connu pour ses interprétations en concerts et à l'opéra, des œuvres de Mozart, Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Vincenzo Bellini et Haendel.
Il a aussi chanté des opérettes de Jacques Offenbach, La Muette de Portici de Daniel-François-Esprit Auber, Le Postillon de Lonjumeau d'Adolphe Adam, le Requiem de Dvořák, la Cantata profana de Béla Bartók.
