The impossible project est un projet ayant pour but de relancer la production de Polaroid avec comme objectif de produire plus de 10 millions de cartouches chaque année. La vente se fait en ligne ou via des réseaux de distribution spécialisé.
Ce sont 11 employés qui ont racheté les machines restantes en 2008, et qui avec Ilford ont mis au point une nouvelle émulsion. Le premier film NB pour les SX70 est sorti en mars 2010. Les laboratoires sont situés aux Pays-Bas[1].
