Hy-Tone Records est une compagnie de disques indépendante américaine, active de 1946 à 1948.
Histoire
Hy-Tone Records est créé à Chicago en 1946 par l'entrepreneur Nathan Rothner avec le musicien de rhythm and blues et chef d’orchestre Freddie Williams. Le label produit des disques de blues, de rhythm and blues et de gospel.
Le label qui est une des premières compagnies de disques indépendantes de l'après seconde guerre mondiale cesse ses activités en 1948.
Dans les années qui suivent deux autres labels porteront le même nom. Hy-Tone Records ne doit pas être non plus confondu avec le label new-yorkais Hi-Tone, une filiale de Signature Records.
