Brick Township

40°4′30″N 74°5′58″O / 40.075, -74.09944 Brick Township est une Commune dans le Comté d'Ocean, New Jersey, aux États-Unis. Selon le recensement de 2000, il a une population totale de 76 119 habitants, il est la deuxième municipalité la plus populeuse dans le Comté d'Océan derrière la Commune de Toms River. Pendant que la Commune de Brick est trouvée sur le territoire continental, les plages I, II et III sont situées sur la Péninsule Barnegat, une péninsule de barrière longue, étroite qui sépare la Baie de Barnegat de l'Océan Atlantique. La région de plage et de territoire continental de la ville n'est pas géographiquement adjacente.

La Commune de Brick a été incorporée comme une commune par un acte de la Législature de New Jersey le 15 février 1850, des portions des deux Commune de Dover (maintenant la Commune de Toms River) et Howell Township. Les portions de la commune ont été prises pour former le Point Pleasant Beach (le 18 mai 1886), Bay Head (le 15 juin 1886), Lakewood (le 23 mars 1892), Mantoloking (le 10 avril 1911) et le Point Pleasant (le 21 avril 1920).
