Bluetech est un DJ / producteur de musique Psybient, exclusivement en downtempo. Il produit également sous les noms Evan Bartholomew et Evan Marc. La musique de Bluetech est très diversifiée, même pour un artiste Psybient. Dans ses productions, il met un accent particulier sur la mélodie, et ses œuvres font souvent preuve d'une influence Dub et Deep Techno.
Bien que sa musique comprend certains sons biologiques, elle est créée principalement en utilisant des synthétiseurs numériques et des logiciels de production, donnant un son très "numérique" , un peu comme Shulman, qui a également sorti des albums par Aleph Zero Records.
Le premier album de Bluetech a été publié sur le label Truffle Records en 2003. Depuis Bluetech a publié des morceaux sur pas mal d'autres labels.
En 2004 Bluetech a lancé son propre label : Native State Records.
