Ashraf Ghani est un homme politique afghan et ancien haut fonctionnaire international.

Biographie

Originaire de la province de Logar, Ashraf Ghani effectue ses études à l'étranger notamment à l'université américaine de Columbia. En 1991, il rejoint la Banque mondiale. Après le 11-Septembre, il rejoint le gouvernement afghan d'Hamid Karzaï en février 2002 et exerce les fonctions de ministre des Finances de juillet 2002 à décembre 2004. Il est arrivé en quatrième position de l'élection présidentielle afghane de 2009.
