Andrew Waltfeld ou le tigre du désert est un personnage de la série Gundam Seed et Gundam Seed Destiny. Dans Gundam, Andrew Waltfeld fait tout d'abord partie des forte de ZAFT[pas clair]. Il est un héros de guerre régnant sur un désert et imposer sa domination au habitant de ces terres[style à revoir]. Il rentrera après en combat avec le strike[Quoi ?] et l'Archangel[Quoi ?]. Celui ci le vaincra et nous laissera croire qu'il sera même tué. Mais après un retour inattendu (puisqu'on le croyait mort) il se ralliera a Lacus Clyne en tant que dirigeant du Kusanagi. Ils formeront un groupe de résistance neutre avec un vaisseau de la nation d'Orb diriger par cagalli yula athha et l'Archangel diriger par Murrue Ramius[style à revoir].
