Altex est une entreprise de la Roumanie qui a son siège social à Piatra Neamț, ayant comme objet d'activité la vente de produits électroniques et de produits IT&C. L'entreprise possède 60 magasins dans les villes de la Roumanie (mars 2009). Elle a aussi une chaîne de 17 grands magasins qui s'appelle Media Galaxy (novembre 2008).
L'entreprise est actionnaire majoritaire du Complet Electro Serv(qui produit des équipamentes IT) et Cometex SA. La compagnie de crédit CREDEX appartient aussi au groupe Altex et 30% du paquet majoritaire est détenu par Raiffeisen Bank (janvier 2009).
Les principaux compétiteurs sont Domo et Flamingo.
Chiffre d'affaires en 2007: 317 millions d'euros.
Revenu net en 2007: 3 millions d'euros.
