Yafc (Yet Another FTP Client) est un client FTP pour système UNIX en ligne de commande. Il est distribué sous licence GNU GPL. Il permet la complétion grâce à la bibliothèque GNU Readline. Il supporte le SSH file transfer protocol.
Parmi ses fonctionnalités principales on trouve :
- mise en cache des répertoires listés
- possibilités étendues de complétion des noms de commandes, de fichiers, chemins etc...
- possibilités d'utilisation d'alias
- commande ls colorisée (ie, ls --color utilise la variable $LS_COLORS comme la commande GNU ls)
- reconnexion automatique lors des pertes de connexions
- possibilité d'utiliser les commandes get, put, fxp, ls, rm, récursivement
- possibilité d'ouvrir plusieurs connexions simultanément
- mise en file d'attente des fichiers à traiter
- client hautement configurable
- login automatique et sauvegarde de sessions (bookmarks)
- redirection vers des commandes locales ou fichier
- support des proxys
- support de Kerberos (version 4 et 5, heimdal, kth-krb ou MIT)
- support du protocole SSH2
