Axway Integration Platform, ou XIP est le successeur de règle du jeu. C'est un interpréteur comptable: il est chargé de traduire des évènements de gestion (par exemple l'enregistrement d'une commande) en écritures comptables qui ont ensuite vocation à être enregistrées dans un progiciel de comptabilité.
Édité par Axway, filiale de Sopra, RDJ s'est développé dans les années 70 en France.
Il y a eu 3 principales versions de RDJ, la première diffusée massivement étant la version 5. La version 8 a apporté une meilleure séparation client-serveur. XRDJ, la dernière version, améliore notamment la sécurité et simplifie les paramétrages des règles d'interprétation comptables.
