Windshear est un super-héros appartenant à l'univers de Marvel Comics. Il a été créé par Fabian Nicieza et Michael Bair dans Alpha Flight #87.
Origine
De son vrai nom Colin Ashworth Hume, fils de diplomate canadien, Windshear est un mutant, et un personnage secondaire de l'équipe canadienne.
Ancien agent de la Division Alpha, il a été le mentor de la Division Béta, après avoir vaincu le Maître. Il a aussi combattu les Démolisseurs.
Il a pris sa retraite, est parti vivre en Angleterre, et a perdu peu après ses pouvoirs lors du M-Day.
Pouvoirs
- Windshear a le pouvoir de projeter des molécules d'air solide. Ces molécules peuvent servir d'arme (sous la forme d'un jet invisible) ou de protection (comme un champ de force).
- Il se sert d'une armure pour mieux contrôler son pouvoir et ainsi voler et pour contrôler avec précision et efficacité son pouvoir. Le masque le protège du vent et des projectiles, et contient une radio.
