Wikiroman

Un wikiroman (néologisme issu de la contraction de « wiki » et « roman ») est un type de roman rédigé de manière collective, collaborative ou associative par plusieurs auteurs, grâce à l'Internet, et notamment à la mise à disposition des plate-formes de wiki.

Historique

Les premiers wikiromans semblent être apparus au début des années 2000 peu après l'émergence des plate-formes de wiki. On peut citer notamment le projet Wikira de roman collaboratif de science-fiction qui a débuté en 2002[1].

En 2007, la maison d'édition britannique Penguin Books s'est également lancée dans l'aventure du wikiroman avec la rédaction d'un wikiroman policier : A Million Penguins[2].
