Langue des signes pour bébé
La langue des signes pour bébé est l'utilisation de la Langue des signes afin de permettre la communication avec des enfants qui ne peuvent ou ne savent pas encore parler (ou pas suffisamment). Elle n'est donc pas destinée uniquement aux bébés sourds.
Principes
Les parents qui la pratiquent se servent d'un petit ensemble de signes de la Langue des Signes. Quand plusieurs variantes d'un signe existent, on choisit la version la plus simple à reproduire ; certains signes sont aussi simplifiés. Il faut des gestes simple et facile à reconnaître pour l'enfant ; ainsi il communiquera avec ses parents. Depuis 2006, Nathanaëlle Bouhier-Charles (Signes avec moi) et en parallèle Sandrine Higel (Centre de formation SIGNES2MAINS) ont largement contribué au développement de l'outil en France.
