United States Chamber of Commerce

La Chambre de Commerce des États-Unis ou United States Chamber of Commerce familièrement nommée AmCham, est la plus grande fédération commerciale à but non lucratif au monde. Elle représente environ trois millions d'entreprises dans le pays (dont certaines sont rattachées à des chambres d'importance moindre), 2 000 chambres locales, ou d'État, et 830 associations commerciales. L'effectif de la chambre se compose de spécialistes politiques, de lobbyistes et de juristes. Elle est connue pour dépenser plus d'argent que n'importe quel lobby du pays sur une base annuelle.

La mission précise de l'institution est: « De favoriser le progrès humain à travers un système économique, politique et social reposant sur la liberté individuelle, l'incitation, l'initiative, l'opportunité et la responsabilité. » (« To advance human progress through an economic, political and social system based on individual freedom, incentive, initiative, opportunity, and responsibility »).

Sa représentation au sein de l'Union européenne se nomme EU-Committee of the AmCham.
