Tommy Clarkson est un footballeur anglais né le 16 octobre 1990 à Leeds.
Né à Leeds d'une mère française, puisque bretonne, et d'un père anglais, Tommy Clarkson est rapidement devenu un inconditionnel de Leeds United comme son père. Aussi, c'est tout naturellement qu'en 2003, il intègre le centre de formation de Leeds. Avec 24 buts en 18 matchs avec la réserve l'an passé, il a intégré l'équipe professionnelle en cours de saison, trois jours après avoir signé son premier contrat pro. Après un excellent match ponctué par deux passes décisives, le jeune joueur est grièvement blessé au genou au cours de ce match. Sa saison est finie.
Le club évoluera l'an prochain en League Two et Tommy sait que pour intégrer la sélection anglaise - ou française, puisqu'il dispose de la double nationalité - il devra jouer à un niveau plus élevé. Le Paris Saint-Germain et le Stade rennais seraient intéressés...
