Thomas Bartholin, médecin, mathématicien et théologien danois, de la famille Bartholin (20 octobre 1616, Copenhague - 4 décembre 1680)
Il est le fils de Caspar Bartholin le Vieux (1585-1629), médecin et théologien danois.
Il fut professeur de médecine à Copenhague.
Ses principaux ouvrages sont :
- Anatomia, 1641
- De luce Animalium, 1647
- De monstris in natura et medicina
- Historiarum Anatomicarum Rariorum, Centuria I–II (1654, Amsterdam)
- Acta medica et philosophica Hafniensia, 1672
- De veterum puerperio, 1676.
Il a fait plusieurs découvertes anatomiques, notamment sur les vaisseaux lactés, thoraciques et lymphatiques.
