The Colour and the Shape
Les Foo Fighters rentrent en studio après une année de tournée (1996) avec Gil Norton, qui a notamment travaillé avec les Pixies. C'est leur premier album en tant que groupe. Après le départ du batteur William Goldsmith, Dave Grohl joue de la batterie sur la plupart des chansons. Taylor Hawkins deviendra le nouveau batteur des Foo Fighters peu de temps avant la sortie de l'album en 1997.
