The Sweet Feeling est un groupe belge de musique pop rock.

Biographie

Ce groupe pop rock anglo-belge fit beaucoup parler de lui de 1967 à 1969 en Belgique et en Europe. Il est formé de Donald Attewell dit « Don » (guitariste/chanteur anglais), Daniel De la Blancherie dit « Dany Longlegs » (guitare solo), Jacques Van Aerschot dit « Jack Hitchin » (batterie) et Jean-Claude Valcke dit « John Valcke », alias « Burnley » (Guitare basse) [1].

Le groupe s'est dissous en 1969 suite au service militaire de Dany Longlegs et Jack Hitchin. En mai 2007, après 38 ans de séparation, les quatre musiciens se retrouvent lors d'une réunion et décident de reformer le groupe. En octobre 2008, ils enregistrent une démo de 4 titres :

  • Beat up Cadillac
  • Hard Road
  • Glad You walked through my door
  • Gotta Know

En mai 2009, un Sweet Feeling's Come Back Show est programmé pour le 30 janvier 2010. Mais suite à une mésentente, ce concert n'a pas lieu. Don, Jacky & John désire continuer l'aventure. Pour Dany, c'est définitivement terminé.
