The Renaissance est le troisième album solo de Q-Tip, ex leader du groupe Hip-hop mythique A Tribe Called Quest. L'album a été lancé le 4 novembre 2008, jour de l'élection de Barack Obama à la présidence des États-Unis. Il inclut des morceaux en collaboration avec Norah Jones, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq et Amanda Diva. Le morceau "Move" est produit J Dilla. Les lecteurs de site "abcdrduson.com[1]" ont voté et ont permis a "The Renaissance" à avoir le 1er Abcdr d'Or 2008.
