The Operation M.D.

The Operation M.D. est un groupe de rock-garage, crée par Dr Rocco (alias Todd Morse, des groupes Juliette and the Licks, et H2O) et Dr Dynamite (alias Jason McCaslin du groupe Sum 41).

Le premier album du groupe, nommé « We Have An Emergency » est paru le 20 février 2007. Le duo est actuellement entrain d'élaborer son deuxième album studio, qui paraîtra vraisemblablement en été 2009.

Historique

Les deux membres fondateurs se rencontrent en 2001, au cours d'une tournée, et se lient rapidement d'amitié. Avec le temps, ils composent peu à peu des titres pour leur premier album. Le groupe a eu succès modéré, excepté au Canada. En effet, le fait que Dr. Dynamite officie au sein de Sum 41 a poussé les fans de ce dernier à écouter ce Side-Project, mais peu se sont réellement intéressés au groupe, et en dehors du Canada, We Have an Emergency n'a pas été distribué (sauf au Japon) et encore moins soutenu.

Membres

  • Dr Rocco : Guitariste et chanteur.
  • Dr Dynamite : Bassiste et chanteur.
  • Matt Brann : Batterie.
  • Dr Dinero (alias Steve Jocz, également membre du groupe Sum 41) : Il semblerait qu'il ait joué de la batterie sur le disque, mais rien ne le prouve puisqu'il n'a pas été crédité sur l'album. Il est cependant le réalisateur des vidéos clips des chansons « Sayonara » et « Someone Like You ».
