The Long and Short of It

The Long and short of it est un court métrage muet réalisé par Sean Astin en 2003.

Pendant un jour de congé sur le tournage du Seigneur des Anneaux, Sean Astin (Sam Gamegie) réalisa ce film, qui a pour acteurs Andrew Lesnie, Peter Jackson et les doublures de certains acteurs du film.

On peut le découvrir dans les bonus de la version collector édition limitée du DVD Le Seigneur des anneaux : Les Deux Tours.

Synopsis

Un colleur d'affiches (Andrew Lesnie) essaye de mettre en place une affiche, mais il a mal au dos et son échelle est cassée. Il est sur ​​le point d'abandonner quand une femme de petite taille (Praphaphorn Chansantor) lui vient en aide et colle la partie inférieure de l'affiche au mur, ce qui retient l'attention d'un très grand homme (Paul Randall), qui colle la partie supérieure de l'affiche au mur.

Après avoir observé l'affiche, les trois protagonistes partent ensemble dans un bus.
