Terminal City est, dans la série Dark Angel, la base où vont se réfugier plusieurs êtres transgéniques incapables de se mêler à la population sans être abattus à partir de l'explosion de Manticore. Elle se situe dans une grande zone interdite à tous depuis l'Impulsion de 2009.
L'un de ses hauts dirigeants influents, un lézard humanoïde, se nomme Mole. C'est lui qui accueillera Joshua lorsqu'il abandonnera la maison où il vivait. Max et Alec les rejoindront à leur tour, mais sans que ce soit officiel, jusqu'à la prise d'otages chez Jam Pony où Max, Joshua, Alec, Gem, Mole et Logan devront y fuir avec l'aide de Sketchy et Original Cindy (les seuls humains normaux (avec Logan) qui accepteront d'y vivre) où ils seront protégés par des centaines d'êtres transgéniques. Une trêve sera conclue entre les policiers et Terminal City et, lentement, les humains accepteront cette réalité.
