Shadrac (de son vrai nom Gray Dolman) est un personnage de fiction, super-vilain appartenant à l'univers de Marvel Comics. Il est apparu pour la première fois dans le comic Amazing Spider-Man vol.2 #2, en 1999.
Origine
Il y a 700 ans, un homme nommé Gray Dolman entra en possession d'une plante magique, un fusain, qui lui donna des pouvoirs et une espérance de vie prolongée.
Un jour, le fusain fut volé par Override, un agent de Norman Osborn. Dans sa quête pour le retrouver, il livra bataille contre Spider-Man et Iceberg.
Pouvoirs
- Grâce à sa plante magique, Dolman possède une portion de chacun des pouvoirs transmis par le Rassemblement des Cinq : immortalité, connaissance, mort, pouvoir et folie.
- Il ne vieillit que très lentement. Il apparaît ainsi comme un trentenaire après 700 ans.
- Il peut localiser le fusain, ou ceux ayant reçu du pouvoir par le Rassemblement des Cinq, et même exercer un faible contrôle mental sur les participants.
- On l'a déjà vu projeter des rayons d'énergie mystique.
- Sous sa forme mystique de Shadrac, il possède une force et une résistance surhumaines, son corps étant consummé par un feu mystique. Le feu ne brûle pas au contact mais provoque une grande douleur. Toutefois, il s'est servi de ses flammes pour faire fondre de l'acier et du béton. Mais ce pouvoir est mal maîtrisé car il ne peut contenir toute l'énergie.
