Sarah Churchill
Sarah Churchill, Duchesse de Marlborough, née Jenyns mais épellé Jennings dans la plupart des références modernes, (29 mai 1660 (selon le calendrier Julien) à Sandridge - 18 octobre 1744 à Londres) est considéré comme l'une des femmes les plus influentes de l'histoire des Îles Britanniques, à la suite de son amitié avec la reine Anne de Grande-Bretagne. Elle était la femme de John Churchill, premier Duc de Marlborough.
L'influence de Sarah Churchill sur Anne de Grande-Bretagne était telle que de nombreuses personnes ont voulu profiter de cette influence pour parvenir à leur fin, faisant de Sarah une personne puissante.
