Elle fut mariée de 1987 à 1989 à l'acteur Leland Orser, puis de 1995 à 1998 au réalisateur David Anspaugh, avant de se remarier en 2007 au producteur Mark Burnett. Elle est notamment connue pour avoir joué le rôle de Monica dans la série télévisée Les Anges du bonheur.
