Richard Alan Naylor est un footballeur anglais né le 28 février 1977 à Leeds qui évolue comme défenseur. Il joue dans le club des Doncaster Rovers, en Angleterre.
Après avoir joué au football jusqu'à 16 ans pour le club où il est actuellement, il partit à Ipswich Town pendant 15 ans où il fit presque 400 apparitions et était même capitaine. Mais après un prêt à Leeds United d'un mois, il impressionna l'entraîneur de l'équipe, Simon Grayson, et fut transféré à son club de sa jeunesse avant même la fin de ce prêt. Naylor fut un titulaire indiscutable pendant la fin de saison 2009 et prit le brassard de capitaine aux dépens de Frazer Richardson, blessé. Il signe le 11 juillet 2011 un contrat de courte durée pour le club des Doncaster Rovers[1].
