Red Shift est un super-vilain cosmique créé par Marvel Comics. Il est apparu pour la première fois dans Galactus the Devourer, en 1999.
Origine
On ne sait rien du passé de cet alien, avant qu'il ne devienne un des Hérauts de Galactus. Il a été l'un de ses Hérauts les plus fidèles.
Un jour, il tenta d'attirer Galactus vers la Terre, et attaqua son défenseur : le Surfer d'Argent. Il voulut faire disparaitre le héros dans un trou noir mais c'est lui qui fut aspiré, quand le Surfer brisa l'une de ses épées.
On l'a revu récemment, dans le camp de la résistance faisant face aux armées d'Annihilus, lors du crossover Annihilation. Il lutta dans l'espace avec Stardust avant que le duo ne soit frappé d'un terrible rayon d'énergie. Il fut désintégré par l'impact.
Pouvoirs
- Comme les autres Hérauts, Red Shift était imbué du Pouvoir Cosmique qui lui permettait de survivre dans le vide spatial, de s'y déplacer très rapidement et de faire preuve d'une force phénoménale.
- Red Shift possédait 2 épées qu'il utilisait pour ouvrir des trous dans l'espace, lui permettant de changer la trajectoire des comètes ou de créer des trous noirs destructeurs.
