Polesworth est un village et une paroisse civile du North Warwickshire, dans le comté du Warwickshire. Il compte 8 439 habitants (2001).

L'abbaye de Polesworth fut fondée en 827 par le roi Egbert de Wessex. Sa fille sainte Edith, instruite par sainte Modwène, en fut abbesse.

L'abbaye disparut au XVIe siècle, lors de la Dissolution des monastères menée par Henri VIII.
