Plegmund de Cantorbéry
Saint Plegmund (mort le 2 août 923) est le dix-neuvième archevêque de Cantorbéry. Il est sacré en 890, après que Grimbald a refusé le poste. Proche d'Alfred le Grand, il participe, avec l'évêque de Sherborne Asser, à la traduction anglaise de la Regula Pastoralis de Grégoire le Grand. En 899, il couronne Édouard l'Ancien, le fils d'Alfred. Il est fêté le 2 août.
